Hopefully that means more of y'all get to read, but if you prefer the Wednesday delivery, please do let us know.
NEW: you can now add a film to your calendar in the trailers section so you 100% don't miss it.

Maze Runner:
The Death Cure
AKA
"So wait, the cure for death is a maze? Do our thoughts on the geopolitical situation right now count? Or does this thought itself count as a maze. We're so confused."
PG-13 / 1 hr 54 mins
WHAT'S THE DEAL
It's the third and final film in the YA (young adult jeeez) book based franchise and kind of the final movie in the onslaught of YA post apocalyptic book based movies that started with The Hunger Games (see Divergent, The 5th Wave etc.).
None of the franchises reached The Hunger Games levels, including Maze Runner, but at least it gets to finish out the series (the Divergent series conspicuously did not).
This one doesn't seem to differ much from the first two, but finishes the story about a shady government type org testing on children to find a cure for a disease wiping out humans.
Early reviews are split, but if you've read the books and watched the movies, it's kind of compulsory.
FUN FACT(S)
Not that fun actually... this entry in the series was delayed after the main actor, Dylan O'Brien, was injured on set (hit by a car) and they had to delay shooting for a good chunk.
Also stars the adorable kid who runs through the airport in Love Actually.
REVIEWS
If you've seen the others, this doesn't look to deviate from the path they set, but seems to solidly answer the questions you had.
Except for why they couldn't make it better apparently. #shrug
NYT called it "enjoyable" though!
Rotten Tomatoes Score: 43%

Winchester
AKA
"Guns don't kill people, ghosts do! But only after they've been killed by guns... "
WHAT'S THE DEAL
Do you OMG loove movies that involve a "haunted house?"
Do you positively squeal at stories "inspired by true events?"
Do you cackle uncontrollably at cinema that focuses on a "disturbed woman?"
Do you just die when your tales of "vengeful ghosts" also act as a commentary on American gun culture?!
....?
Well three out of four ain't bad.
Helen Mirren plays this "disturbed" widow of the famed Winchester gun maker; she builds (and builds, and builds) a house after misfortune befalls her family in hopes of locking in the angry ghosts who she believes are causing this terror.
But she's disturbed so this can't be happening, right...?
You (excitedly): ...wrong!!
Can you just not? We're trying to do our thing here.
*ahem* Wrong!
See, now it just didn't have the same impact. Moving along...
If you know the horror film The Conjuring, you can probably thank it for Winchester's existent (Conjuring is also a period haunted house horror movie and made bonkers $), and use it as a reference point to determine if you're interested in this one.
Note: every quote we used was pulled directly from the official film overview. Nothing like familiarity.
FUN FACT(S)
There is an actual house that the real Ms Winchester built (in San Jose, CA). Ya know, if you wanna do some real heavy pre-gaming...
