WHAT'S THE DEAL
Look, we could make jokes about how the bad guy Thanos looks like a testical attached to The Rock's body.
We could excoriate the Marvel movies for the same "boss battle" in every. damn. movie.
Hell, we could say these movies are secretly an elaborate way for Marvel to release the dark one and unyielding pain on humans for eternity.
But what's that gonna do, huh?
No matter what's said people are gonna see this movie (and by people, that includes us), it's going to set up the next movie and the scene at Disney will continue to look like Uncle Scrooge's vault.
But people are also going to by and large enjoy themselves. That ain't so bad.
So if you're in, enjoy.
If you're abstaining, check out Disobedience below for the exact opposite of this.
REVIEWS
As solid as Thanos' fist apparently.
Few critiques seem to be from fatigue or "too much."
So if you love Marvel movies, looks like you'll likely love this.
Rotten Tomatoes Score: 86%

OUR TAKE
We get the complaints about "the machine," but to be fair, these are generally good movies (unlike all Transformers movies).
Some even address complex themes (see Black Panther, Guardians of the Galaxy).
Would we like more different? Sure.
But if we're gonna have the same meal every night, we'd prefer it to be a tasty one.

WHAT'S THE DEAL
Two girls are lovers.
Their orthodox community does not approve.
One girl leaves, one girl stays, and marries a man.
One day the girl who left returns - so does the passion between them.
While that is already a lot, there looks to be even more addressed and challenged.
Including belief in tradition, in god, in commitment, in love.
Rachel Weisz plays the girl who left (she produced it too). Rachel McAdams plays the one who stayed.
Also noteworthy, directed by Sebastián Lelio who won a Best Foreign Language Oscar this year for A Fantastic Woman.

OUR TAKE
There could be some Oscar stuff here we thinks.
Big fans of both the Rachels so if not in theaters, we'll likely see it at home.

OVERBOARD
The 80's movie with a gender (and some culture) switch. Anna Farris is the working class mother who messes with a rich Mexican playboy (who fired her unjustly) after he gets amnesia.
TULLY
Charlize Theron is a mom. A mom who needs help. Help comes in the form of Tully.
From Juno team of Jason Reitman and Diablo Cody (who also worked with Theron on Young Adult). Early reviews are quite good.
