WHAT'S THE DEAL
Do you think Melissa McCarthy (henceforth known as M2 ) is funny? Then you will probably like this movie.
Because it's basically M2 being M2. And as we know from Bridesmaids, Ghostbusters, Spy, The Heat etc., that's generally a very funny thing.
In this version of M2 being M2 she takes on the totally plausible scenario of going to college with her daughter after her jerk husband divorces her for an "upgrade."
In a surprise twist, the young college co-eds finds this totally normal and embrace her with hugs, zero jokes about oldness and weed chocolate.
That's totally true, except for the acceptance, zero old jokes and hugs parts. But that's ok, because M2 has awkward conversations about "va-googling" and mom walk of shames to get to - so take that ya stupid college co-eds and jerk husbands. Yeah!
REVIEWS
None yet. Don't expect raves, and probably not even positive reviews, but if you love M2, YDY.

OUR TAKE
McCarthy is rarely not funny, and almost always at least likable, but do we need to go to the theater...?

WHAT'S THE DEAL
You know that advice of not getting in-between a mamma bear and her cubs?
It's basically the same advice for locking yourself in a fortress like house with a human mother's children in an effort to steal something from said human mother's dead father.
As in, don't friggen do it.
Otherwise you'll gettin friggen dead. Ya friggen dumby heads.
Note: Gabrielle Union plays previously referenced human mother.

WHAT'S THE DEAL
There are things that when you try and explain them, they lose something.
Beast looks like that kind of movie.
So let's just say this movie has excellent reviews, it's pretty, and looks to be pretty disturbing.
REVIEWS
Really great. But don't read them. Because a number of them reference a movie which seems to give away a key plot point.

OUR TAKE
Looks like one of those movies you watch, try and communicate it to others and you resort to "just watch the damn thing, I can't explain it." <--that's a good thing.
