OUR TAKE
Â
Looks like the worst of milking a franchise - not making a bad movie, but a boring one.
But we imagine people who go will mostly still enjoy it, because if you wanna shut your brain down, there are worse off switches than raging dinosaurs.

WHAT'S THE DEALÂ
It's a western, but one that if a John Wayne zombie saw we reckon he'd eat his own brains so he could be dead all over again. That is to say, it ain't your normal western.Â
For starters, the main horse in the movie is miniature.
For seconders, there's more humor than action (but there'll be some action).
For thirders, the male lead (Robert Pattinson) looks more likely to be the one in distress than the female lead (Mia Wosikowska).
So stay in that there grave Mr. Wayne, because you won't like this one. Also, cuz you're dead, and zombies aren't real...
...right?
REVIEWS
Pretty swell ones. Probably not Oscar material, but critics enjoying the flip of convention and the off kilter humor/style.

Looks pretty, looks different, looks fun. Plus Robert Pattinson has been tryin his damndest to show he's a "real actor" recently, is benefiting us moviegoers.

The drug war expands. A sequel we were dubious of, but early word is apparently good. Same writer (but not director)Â as the first.

UNCLE DREW

The Pepsi commercial you never wanted as a full length movie that is probably better than it deserves to be.

Think ensemble romantic comedies (Love Actually, Valentine's Day), but with dog stories. Legit enough cast - Eva Longoria, Vanessa Hudgens, Thomas Lennon, kid from Stranger Things, Tig Nataro, Adam Pally & more.

This is a different one, but give it a watch. Robert Zemeckis (Forrest Gump etc.) directs Steve Carrell as a guy who gets beat up by neo-Nazis, but uses (doll) art to get back his humanity.
